• Laurene Hamilton Board Member

    Laurene Beverly Hamilton holds an undergraduate BS from Tennessee State University in Ag-Science and Business and a Masters in Sustainability and Env-Science from the University of Georgia.  She has spent the last 15 years building a career in environmental education and advocacy as a Coordinator for the University of GA Extension Service, a County Recycling Manager for DeKalb County, an Executive Director for the non-profit Keep DeKalb Beautiful and as a Coordinator for Georgia State University in their Office of Sustainability.

    She is most proud of her current position as a Recycling Analyst for Cox Enterprises, providing sustainable resource management for 300+ Cox locations and affiliates; and waste diversion guidance aimed at achieving the Cox corporate goal of sending zero waste to landfill by 2024.

  • Christa Sanders Board Member

    Christa Sanders is an International Education professional with over a decade of progressively responsible and diverse experience in the field of higher education. Experience includes: counseling (with a focus in multiculturalism); academic advising and planning; supervision and training of staff, etc. Strong background in creating and managing study abroad programs in Africa and Europe. Motivated, efficient and resourceful with proven management skills. Publications and research stress understanding of cultural factors on a world wide scale. Extensive travel experience spanning 45 countries and languages include: Spanish, German and Portuguese.

  • Pearl Aidoo Board Member

    Pearl Aidoo was born and raised in Ghana West Africa. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Policy and Administration from the University of Leeds, UK, and a Master’s degree in International Development Studies from the University of Bradford, UK. She has been a full time home maker since 2006. Pearl has worked as a Management Consultant with Price Waterhouse (Ghana) and in the banking and finance industry with SunTrust Bank and Pension Financial Services respectively in Atlanta, Georgia.

  • Wellington Onyenwe Board Member

    Wellington Onyenwe completed his undergraduate course work with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Molecular Toxicology at the University of California-Berkeley, College of Natural Resources and a Masters of Public Health Degree in Environmental Health Sciences and Toxicology at Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Public Health Promotion and Environmental Toxicology at Georgia State University, School of Public Health.

  • Ruth Kitchen Board Chair

    Mrs. Kitchen holds a BA from Michigan State University and a Master of Education from Texas Women’s University. Through her continued studies, she has become certified as an Educational Supervisor, Diagnostician and Reading Recovery Specialist. These certifications have allowed her to address, develop and implement positive programs to empower the student’s she served.

  • Ajai B. Jones Board Member

    Agai obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Morehouse College and his Master’s in Business Administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.   His career path encompasses the spectrum of roles ranging from grass roots to senior management in the implementation of international development, education, public health and entrepreneurial ventures in the US and Africa.  Agai is happily married with two amazing children.

  • Jaime White

    Jaime White is a successful entrepreneur in the wellness and fitness community for over 15 years and an advocate of healthy living and the outdoors.  In addition to being a leader in her community, she is a nationally recognized teacher trainer in Pilates and was a highly regarded successful business owner. In 2014, Jaime sold her studio but remains in the education sector of Pilates and started to pursue other dreams. She now currently works in the medical device industry as a sales territory manager and ventures into national parks any free chance she can.
