Jordan was born in the US Virgin Island, St. Croix. He grew up in the Washington DC area exploring the many national parks and swamps. At 15, he became a Lifeguard which helped him realize that his strongest skills were in relationship building and that he enjoyed giving back to his community.
Jordan chose to be an art major just to diversify his education, and graduated from Shepherd University, WV with a bachelor’s degree in Photography/Computer Digital Imagery. He joined the United Brothers organization on campus to help recruit young men of all nationalities and help them give back to their local communities through volunteerism.
After becoming a teacher for NorthBay Adventure which was an outdoor environmentalist school, he helped youth realize and develop their passion for interacting with their environment. Combining his love for the outdoors and helping others, Jordan would hold many different positions along the way. He helps run programs that nurse children stricken with cancer back to health under the Ronald McDonald House Charities. He also manages internship programs for Greening Youth Foundation that engage and expose diverse youth and young adults to careers within the National Parks Service!
