People often ask, what was I thinking when I started Greening Youth Foundation 2 ½ years ago? I would have to say I was thinking about ACCESS. One of my fondest memories was being able to roam the forest surrounding my parents’ farm in upstate New York every morning during the summer months of my childhood. I think those days helped shape who I am today—experiencing the awesomeness of nature as I greeted the resident snake that lived on the side of our home, or picked berries to eat for breakfast.
